

Jamie appears to be the first drunken fist user in Street Fighter history. The first all-new character shown for Street Fighter 6 is Jamie and he looks to be a fun addition to the list. Expect her to boast all her signature moves with some unique acrobatics to complement them. After sticking with her classic Street Fighter 2 costume in SFV, she’s back with a new look but what appears to be a largely similar move set. He still boasts the MMA-inspired move set of Street Fighter V but will likely be adjusted to show some character progression.Ĭhun-Li is back with a bit of a redesign. Luke is being prominently featured in trailers as a rival to Ryu. His movest seems similar to what fans are used to but there will likely be some changes to give him a more modern flare.Ĭapcom did something surprising in Street Fighter V, introducing Luke as the final DLC character and hinting that he’s set to be a big deal in future games. Ryu is set to return with a cool new look that hearkens to the Street Fighter 4 appearance of Gouken, Ryu and Ken’s teacher. If this matches up with prior releases of Street Fighter, the game would follow about a year later and be released in the early part of 2023, before March 31st, when Capcom's fiscal year is set to end.

We're expecting to see Street Fighter 6 announced at the next Capcom Cup, which is currently scheduled to take place in 2022 and feature 32 of the world's best competitors selected from the Capcom Pro Tour online series of events.

While this list is definitely heavy on Street Fighter 2 cast members, we also highlight some people from the Street Fighter Alpha games as well, since the game might be based around time travel and revisiting moments from the past. Some of the choices here are obvious, as Capcom once told us that Ryu and Chun-Li will be in every Street Fighter game, so the list starts off with them, before heading into the territory of characters who are not as iconic.
